V12 Case Study
VERIDAPT delivers total fuel and lubricants visibility for major South American miner seeking business continuity and sustainability goals.
Problem
A major mining company in Chile was facing challenges in controlling and monitoring fuel and lubricant usage. Lack of visibility into the supply chain had complicated the identification of potential waste and compliance with internal sustainability goals. In addition, the mining operation was affected by the need to perform specialized maintenance on existing fuel supply and management systems, resulting in operational disruptions.
Solution
VERIDAPT implemented its AdaptFMS system at the mine’s facilities, including both fixed fueling stations and tank trucks, also known in other regions as tanker or pipe trucks. The solution consisted of the installation of high-availability hardware, integration with pumps and flow sensors, as well as the implementation of advanced identification methods using RFID tags. In addition, the system delivered remote monitoring and real-time reporting through a SaaS platform.
Benefit
The mining company achieved complete visibility over its fuel supply chain, from storage to final consumption in equipment and vehicles. This reduced maintenance requirements, improved transactional security and optimized fleet utilization, ensuring that each fuel transaction was properly authorized. Since implementation, there have been no operational interruptions caused by the AdaptFMS system, improving business continuity and meeting sustainability objectives.
